Have you chosen to serve God in your youth? Well done for God has a reward for you not only in heaven but here on earth too. God will bless you and everything you do for you have decided to put his interests before yours. God will not watch as your enemies triumph over you. He will fight for you and make ways for you that no enemy will find. If you have chosen to ignore God in your life, it will come back to you sooner than later.
Lately, I have been able to compare the lives of two old men who lived very different lives. One of them had dedicated his entire life to God since he was a youth and the other one just gave his life to God when he was in his late seventies. All will go to heaven but one is a more fulfilled Christian than the other. This is because he chose God first rather than his personal gratification.
If we serve God diligently, we secure our entire future in him. He makes sure that we are well taken care of even in our twilight years. We do not have to beg and depend on others when we grow old. God will give us the strength and energy we need to take care of ourselves and even others. Our lives will be happy and more fulfilling knowing that we have made a difference for God. The time to start serving God is now, when you still have the strength.
